Stearns lake. Try worms and wonderbread. If you flyfish you could sight fish with craw patterns.

They are a weird fish. I have personally gotten them sight fishing with smaller #10-14 nymphs, and I'll occasionally pick one up when streamer fishing. Just put in your due time for them, and eventually you'll be rewarded.

Have had most of my success on the grassies using fruit scents with euro style carp rigs. They usually put up a bit of a fight, so make sure you have a large net and check your knots. Have tried cherry tomatoes a couple times, without much luck. Corn has worked in some lakes, but not all. Same with boilies and pop-ups. Just remember that they are mostly vegetarians once they reach a certain size. Take a variety of baits and give it some time as the larger ones can be pretty elusive. Some lakes seem to have far more aggressive feeding fish than others.
