Lake: Pikeview Reservoir

Pikeview help please

Post By: Angler Jack      Posted: 6/24/2015 10:23:05 AM     Points: 431
I have lived in the springs pretty much my whole life and only fished pikeview a hand full of times. I usually fish the mile or Plo...i have seen some pretty nice size trout come out of pikeview and only heard rumors that they have saugeye. Looking for any advice anyone can provide how to fish this lake, where, and what to use. I have only had luck with crawlers and sometimes powerbait. Any help would be appreciated!

My friend was fishing it the other day and caught a saugeye using some top water action. This was around the afternoon. They are in there just a little more difficult to catch due to the heavy pressure. The trout tend to stay relatively small there as well.
