Lake: Harriman Lake

Update

I was just wondering about how the conditions are over at harriman. I see people fishing over there on occasion now after the lake renovation but I was just wondering if they have stocked it yet since then.

From CPW website:

Catchable (8) channel catfish and fingerling bluegill were stocked in Fall 2013 after the lake refilled. Fingerling largemouth bass were added to this mix starting Fall 2014.

Not worth your time. That lake is dead right now.

I just moved into the area around harriman. Is there any lakes nearby that have goI'd shore fishing?

Smith, Kendrick, Main, and Cottonwood would be my picks right now in that neighborhood. When Bear Creek recedes some more it can be good.

I moved out of that area 2 years ago and now live on north end of town. I've only made it down that way twice since moving but I'm still not willing to spill the beans on my local favorites in that area to every literate fisherman in Denver. If you'd like, send a quick note to ranchcracker@hotmail.com and I'll turn you onto a couple of spots in that area that are worth the time and effort. Harriman, (imho), is a great candidate to dedicate as a dog park!
