LOL I truly did not know what a bunch of nefarious criminals my FxR friends are. First OpenCage our state editor almost has us thrown off the lake for the evil deed of hanging an FxR Banner.. nope not kidding he had to take it down... then Bron and Bron Jr were grilling and doing all kinds of evil food acts that also met the ire if the Park Ranger. Thank goodness GH, Spicy (and Spicy Jr) and I were late or there is no telling what sort of trouble we would be in. On the other hand the Ranger actually hecked our licenses.

All that aside, we did have a great time. OpenCage maaned to catch a nice carp on a rapala.. maybe we can twist his arm into posting a pic

And GH caught a really nice common which I'm sure we'll see a pic of soon.

Sounds like the ranger was upset he wasn't invited.

I have a great pick of GH with his 15# carp...will tag it on here tomorrow. GH was there for the grill scandal...BTW. That was a monster fish and Im happy to have netted my 2nd MA carp in a week for a new friend. Thanks to all who came out!

With not being able to get the greatest look at the orientation of the mouth. The dorsal fin gives it away in the fish explorer pics.

Yep bother grassie and bummer I missed it. Just got back from the gymnastics meet and shoe shopping with wife and kids. One day I wish I was single and kid less. Could of bought a boat today but had to buy shoes and cloths.

Funny...not one of us got water temp. I brought so much junk I didnt know where my thermometer was....still dont. Glad we all got a report and glad we all went. Maybe start thinkin on the next one.....

I live up the hill from Stearns. Let me know Ill come down and fish with you guys. Havent fished down there in years. Not many bass left but I want to catch a grass or common on the fly. Give me a shout.
