Fishing Centennial (4/15)

Went to Centennial after no luck and crappy weather at Main Reservoir. I read on the DOW's website that they stocked this lake on 4/13. We fished from 7:15 to 9:15. The weather was not as windy over at centennial. We fished on the west side of the lake by the baseball field. The fishing started off slow but picked up once the sun was completely down, but so did the wind and colder weather. We got lots of bites. All in all, my buddy caught one and I caught five (stockers). Only two were ok to keep. We used nightcrawlers, salmon eggs, rooster tails, kastmasters, and powerbait. The only thing that seemed to attract them was powerbait. We used the garlic scented neon yellow/green. We had a lot of fun. I would have stayed later, my buddy got too cold. I'll definitely be back soon. I can't wait for the weather to get better.
