I was just wondering if anybody had ever fished narraguinnep reservoir in southwest colorado? I recently moved to the area and would like to try this place out. Is a boat a must? Thanks in advance everybody!

Haven't fished it personally, but now is the time shore fishing can be good. And reports from around this time last year suggest success near shore.

Go for it! Have fun and let us know how it goes.

According to my Tim Kelley fishing guide. Narraguinnep Reservoir (7050 ft 386 ac) is an irrigation reservoir reached by Hwy 147. It offers rainbow, perch, crappie, northern pike, bluegill, channel catfish and some walleye. There is no camping. Hope this helps. BTK
