Ice Fished out here on Saturday (1-10-15) with about 5" of ice. I was on the hunt for Perch but only managed one all day, my buddy and i did land 7 Rainbows though. Smallest was 11 and largest was 14. Not a bad day after all. I was fishing the west part of the dam. Anyone else have any luck out here. I would really like to get back out here soon and find some perch.

I can't speak to this year but we did very well on perch around this time last year fishing in 5-7 FOW on the dam. Used small crappie jigs and 1/64oz and 1/32oz jig heads tipped with half a meal worms. Did the perch have any size, last year all we caught we tiny perch.

Only caught one and it was 6.5 inches. I was using worms and eggs. I was using the eggs after a few hours of only one perch and started aiming more for the Trout.
