City park ice fishing

Fished City Park for an hour and a half today. West side has about 4-5 inches of ice with about 2 inches of snow on top. Saw 5 other groups out fishing as well. Didn't get any bites but had fish coming to check out my lures. They were curious but not hungry. Didn't see anyone else catch anything either.

Thanks for the report. Too bad you didn't get any, I'm a bit surprised by that.

I was a little surprised, too. Normally you can convince one or two of the stockers to eat, but at least I wasn't the only one having that problem today. I could see on the sonar that fish were coming in and swimming around my lure, but nothing I did would convince them to take it.

Fished there Friday as well. Got skunked at Douglas so decided to go somewhere closer to home because i had to work. Had a few bites and only landed a 4 inch bluegill. Going to Boyd today hoping for better action.
