Creek has had safe ice for a couple weeks in places. I would bet the whole lake is safe now. Crappie fishing has been ok, but no big fish, mostly 4 and 5 inchers. 14 to 18 ft deep near the tower. Small crappie tubes in white or chartreuse. Super light bite so pay close attention. Trout are east to come by on whatever. Have not seen any walleye caught yet.
