Went down this evening to johnson res.(clement park) to see what the carp situation was and that lake was boiling with carp. Fished for about 2 hours and caught 2 carp a bass a catfish and also a walleye woulda had more carp but I broke off a few times.

Only 12 inches. I dont know if id eat anything from there unless you want a case screamin willies.

If they broke you off I'd count that as a quality game fish IMO. I always said even if you don't like carp they are great practice for when you do get that least you know how to play it.

Carp and catfish were caught on sweet corn.

Oh No ! Another carp-kisser !

I have seen a trend this year, with our FXR members, with many mouth-to-mouth encounters between them and the humble Cyprinus carpio !

Best carry some mouthwash with you in future when carp fishing....

That lake produces a lot of good sized carp.
