reeling in the monsters!

ok so maybe I'm the monster lookin one. lol But had to check bluegill off the species list so got this big un. Too bad it's a little out of focus but I think you can still see the awesome colors on the gill my wife caught. And then finally a pleasant surprise, trout a little larger than I expect from Pikeview. We only got the one pic and got it right back in the water, but it's colors were also beautiful.

Nice! I would take that all day, any day! Good thing you were able to work off the rust before your Spinney trip! I guess that trout tried to get a piece of you too!

Will cry even more when my wife finds out. Dang spros $ 30 a piece and my 3:16 really hurts. Guess power pro needs to be changed out after a couple of big fish. Snapped mid way of line never had that happen before and had it happen three times today and on leader failure.

... most any day is a nice day if it's a fishin day... gills, bass, trout ... whatever.

Hey, Angler where are you based? We should fish one day. Maybe we can head out on the boat when Chatty starts to cool down a little. Nice Eye bite and the bigger Smallies really put on the feedbag when thngs start to cool.

Let me know...

One of my favorite fish to catch.

thanks Rangler - bluegill removed, green sunfish added. Is that second pic an aquarium you have?

No for some reason it was in my photos but Im sure I pulled it off the net somewhere.
I had over the years some fastastic fish tanks. even a giant backyard pond But I never had a gill tank Im sure they are alot like cichlids.
