Yellowstone Cutthroat

Today I finally caught my 1st Yellowstone Cutthroat. It took me 4 trips up to the lake and about 25 hours of fishing with no luck until today. The day was cold, windy and rainy.

Just curious, was this fish caught in Yellowstone Park or somewhere else?

Nice fish, I got a couple of them on Thursday up in RMNP at lake Haiyah, my wife and I had tons of hits and hookups but only brought a couple of them all the way to shore/the giant boulder I was standing on. Lake is in the middle of a boulder field. Slippery little fellas too!

there are only a handful of lakes and creeks that have them in the park.
