Anybody fish Rio Blanco much?

We fished here last Sunday and had a fun time with the crappie and bluegills. It was my second time fishing here. I caught a nice perch which I'd never seen here before. Does anybody regularly catch em here or was it just a random bucket biologist fish. Fun little lake early until the recreational boats came out and drove around in circles, crazy is all we could say! If you've never been here, it's SUPER small and IMO should be no wake only.

Perch have been in there for at least 15 years maybe longer. Seems like grow rates on all warm water fish in Rio are slow. I have caught a couple of nice LMB and have heard reports of large pike.

Lost one of my biggest pike at Rio Blanco. Weeds get nasty there. I would think fishing it when water temps are down would be a better bet for getting into more fish.

I fish it a few times a year, I've heard of perch in the in the last couple years. There's some good pike in there, I've seen multiple (one by me) 20+lbs fish come out of there. Depending on the year the crappies do really well in there too. The weeds get really thick in there too!
