Went here for the first time today and caught a 10" bass and a small bluegill. Didn't see a thing besides that.

This is one of our favorite places to take the kids for some fun bluegill fishing. I have yet to catch one that big out of there so it must be skill on your part lol, I've talked to some others guys there and they swear there are some good size ones in there but I've yet to get any of em. Looks like I'll have to keep practicing! Good job on the bass!

Theres great Bass fishing there. Right time right bait. I fish there off and on I live right across the street from there. Smith lake on the otherside is a place that has been taking up more of my time.

I have lost a couple of pigs out of there this year!!

man this brings back a lot of memories. I lived on car street and jewel until I was 12 and my mom remaried. I used to hang out there a lot as a kid. the creek along jewel was loaded with crawdads, we would catch dozens a day. At the time there were double digit carp in the ponds and I was told if I caught them to stomp there heads and throw them into the cattails. but over were my dad lived at Ketring lake there were Asian people that loved carp and fished with monofilament wrapped around pop cans.

Nice fish. That place looks like a great place to go after work even for a picnic just to hang out.

Shouldn't post small ponds on public forums
