Renewed my liscence for the year and recently moved nearby and thought id check out this local lake. I fished on the east side and it was a nice time. I caught 2 catfish and a rainbow. Had a bunch of other bites and lost 2 on the way in. I was having the best luck with hotdog or hotdog bit in dough balls. I also tryed some homemade carp bait and worms. I caught the cats on hotdog bits and the trout on a worm was fishing mostly on the bottome tried some spinners and bobber for a bit with little luck.

Ive been fishing it for the last w years. Its a hard lake to learn. Ive hearx that the catfishing is the best fishing. Im willing to bet theres a few nice bass to be caught and aill be trying to prove my statement. . Good luck and hoope to see you out there sometime

I grew up fishing this lake, since it's practically my backyard. If you want big cats, it's the lake to be. Go at dust and try a slip bobber with a large shiner or fat head and those cats will take you for a ride. I usually test my new gear at this lake since there are plenty of bass to be caught and the carp are always cruising the shore line.
