Arvada or Chatfield Kitties

Post By: CatfishGitter      Posted: 6/10/2014 12:11:21 PM     Points: 232
So I am heading out sometime soon to tackle some kitty cats. Does anyone have any recent updates on Chatfield or Arvada?

I will likely be fishing from the bank as I have no boat or access to one.

Any input would help on these areas. I am not new to fishing for Mr Whiskers, just new to these lakes.

Chatty for sure! the cats there are much bigger and easier to find.

So far no reports about catfish caught at Chatty

Arvada would be my choice if you could fish at night there but no dice. Its a good place to try to catch them during the day though.

since curfew at Arvada try a day with cloud cover and less percentage of rain and make sure to bring ponchos :)

Arvada has some big cats. I lost one right at the kayak that was probably pushing 36". If you to there go east of the fishing pier on the south side, there are 2 or 3 big cats that hang around a sunken culver.
