Boyd that was fun!

Decided to leave work a little early and hit Boyd today and Boyd was it fun! First cast and fish on!!! After 2 hours I had my limit - I love whities... I was using a perch pattern HJ6/CD4 and the whities were hitting it hard. Love jerkbait this time of the year!

Nice catch for sure. Congrats. Gotta love it when a plan comes together.

I'm jealous!! It's been a while since I've had a good white bass day out there. Congrats!

T-Virus, I used catch those up in the Dakotas on light spinning and fly tackle throwing streamer patterns. They are a riot! Congrats on a fine catch and an even better supper. Just taking that dark lateral line out of the filet and - to me - the flavor is as good as walleye.

any chance you got a water temp? I'm just curious how much this cold snap affected temps

Ajax - dont feel bad, this is my first limit in over a decade at Boyd. I remember those pre-Y2K days where a lot better.

Indie - right on with the taste.

FPF - sorry, was in the zone and didnt have time to check water temp.

Water temp is sitting right around 53 degrees.

That is an even bigger accomplishment from shore!!! They can be tough to locate in a boat with sonar.

Great catch. Glad to see a bunch of strippers out of the lake. These guys will destroy the shad population.

Wow, that looks like a helluva day. What were you getting 'em on?

If there where strippers at the lake I bet you could catch them with dollar bills. Congrats on the white bass.

Where did you catch these? North shore?
