last year a couple lakes were low on water and was wondering if this lake is still good or not. i read up on it and they said they were still looking for water, so i am assuming the lake must be down a couple feet?

There's been no reports since last year. Here's that last one:

11.26.13 from: cookster
Check the lake today to find the water 400 yards down from the low water ramp. The lake is a puddle and no way to get to the water because of the mud.

If you head out there, be sure to submit a conditions report and let us know what's up.

Good luck.

I wish I could help you out but I haven't been there in a couple of years. I just wanted to save you from making the same mistake I did in case you go. When I went the level was low. I had on my hip waders. I was by myself. Everything appeared to be tundra so I figured the ground was soft but manageable. Right up to the time I took one step too many and found myself up to my waist in the mud and no one around. Took awhile to get out and it was a little worrisome. One the plus side though I did manage to find a way down to the water and the fishing was great. Nothing huge but consistent for warm water species. I also caught my largest white bass there. (And carp). Good luck if you go but be careful.
