some help needed!

Post By: Dakota Dude      Posted: 12/29/2013 3:48:53 PM     Points: 2571
I am up in the Glenwood Springs area and have been planning on hitting Reudi but I just heard it is not frozen over. I am not very familiar with the area and would love to catch some lakers through the ice. I just don't know of any other lakes relatively close besides Reudi. I am hoping that someone can point me to a lake the I can find lakers in that is within an hour. All help would be greatly appreciated.

Click on the "Fish Species" tab. It'll tell you where lakers can be found.

Thank you for the tip! Is that a complete list? Looks like I will have to head significantly east to find some lakers.

It's not totally complete for all species. I don't know of any places for lakers other than those listed...if there are any the people who know about them probably don't readily share the info.

There was a state record Brown caught in the Animas River at Durango, Uncle Jess Brown, 1961, 36 inch 27 pounds. It was topped by the one from the Roaring Judy rearing pond 18 years later.
