Great... I'm curious because it looks like there is a small access road heading up there... might prove to be an interesting little outing. =)
There are a couple tiny lakes up and around Rabbit Ears Pass that I've fished my whole life... one of them holds an absolutely UNREAL number of Brookies... all hungry, all eating Panthers and flies w/ bubble. A weekend trip landing over a hundred brooks is quite common there.
I'm hoping to find a lake similar to this closer to home... as the Rabbit Ears lake I'm talking about is close to a 4 hour drive and a 1 hour hike in...
This whole series of lakes here looks intriguing... Would require some hiking, but that's the best part. =)

Opry99er, the lake that you have pictured is Silver Lake in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. Silver Lake on the Grand Mesa you can drive to it and it holds Brookies and Cutthroat trout. It is flies and lures only and you can only keep two fish which must be over 16" long. BTK

I have not researched this lake enough yet... I haven't tried to drive to it nor hike it... I'll be trying at ice-off in the Spring... Don't have time or gas to get up there at the moment... But they look great!
