bullhead catfish in the weeds

I have been fishing Lowell ponds for a few years. I have caught fish in the main pond, caught fish at the back pond. The two ponds one in the middle, and the long triangle pond on the north side don't seem to produce as many fish. I hear they don't stock them and most of the year they are weed choked.I have fished them on and off the middle pond has channel cats and bullheads. This spring I saw a carp and a cloud of bullhead fry. So this week I tried fishing the triangle pond with success I caught a few small bullheads nothing great but I have caught fish at all the ponds at lowell ponds.

Always a pleasure reading your reports. Nice job. I myself went after cats tonight. Got a cold windy skunk... glad someone got into cats tonight. :)

Nice bullheads! It's been a while since I've fished at Lowell ponds, but all the bull heads I've caught out if there were very small.

For a bullhead it is a decent size fish you have. Congratulation!

NIce work. Look like the perfect size for flathead bait.
