Ice on The Grand Mesa

Found ice forming on Alexander today. Went up for some color and the wife and I caught 11 Fish in less then a hour.

Looks like good timesit won' t be long till' ice time. I have never fished it but looks nice from your pics. You have a unique opportunity you can be the first fisherman to submit an update for this lake. If you already did cool just wanted to make sure you knew.

I took a picture of Alexander but I fished a different lake. I have fished it before and did ok but I have a few others I like better.

Nice pics Lefty, I was going to up next week looks like it will be to late!! I've never fished Alexander because I have different lakes that I like to fish as well. Thanks for the update. BTK

Alexander will always have a unique place in my heart. It's the first place I caught a white sucker on a dry fly.
