yesterdays pigs.

Went to do a bit of fishin and wound up with this worm stealing pig. Never figured they lived there. Maybe washed in with the floods. Released it after i got my hook out. Also got a few lmb one of was 15".

I believe there is one in the 2nd pond that is almost twice as big. Maybe he washed away with the floods.... Never heard of anyone catching one there. NIce catch! haha. Heres a pic of a full matured painted turtle i found at Grandview as well.

Haha speedingduck. That thing was not happy about the whole situation. Thats a nice lookn paint. Heres one i found sitting next to me ,or maybe i satnext to it.

I'm amazed at how many ponds have turtles, including snappers, up and down the Front Range

Those "paintings" are cool. I nver knew they had markings like that. But that's what I get for growing up in the Mohave Desert. Thanks for sharing lew and nice catch.

Nice Catch. Here is a little guy my buddy hooked about a month ago. had a heck of a time getting the hook out, even thou it was barely hooked in the lip/beak (not sure what you call there mouth).
