Ponds? I only see one

Visited riverbend today. Wow! It has flooded like crazy. There is no way to navigate, the turtle pond dock is broken, and there are no paths unless you want to walk in 5 feet deep water.
1st pic: new pond created by flooding
2nd pic: what used to be a path
3rd pic: turtle pond dock

Its terrible to see so many great ponds get decimated like this. I hope that it will recover soon. there are some big fish there.
Tight lines,
Rob

correction, there "used" to be big fish in there. I highly doubt these ponds will be on anyones mind to rebuild in the near future. People are going to be more concerned about roadways, bike trails, and structures that have been lost, not a few little bass ponds here and there. I'd like to think that a lot of the small fisheries will bounce back with strength, but I think only time will tell that story for now. At least there is still all the large lakes around! I'm going to do a little scouting tomorrow in the fort collins area to see what kind of damage has been done, and maybe try and wet a few lines after i get off work.
