OK,
So I made my way out to the fish salvage today and notice a few folks snagging and posted up asking if you can snag durnig a fish salvage and got a reply no,So I call OGT and let them know what was happening....
On my way home I had gotten a return phone call....
I was told that because this is a shallow lake and the water is getting drained quick they want folks to "stock there freezer"ANY way you can get fish out do it...multi multi rods(as many as you can handle),nets,snagging,crossbow...ect...you jusr CAN NOT electic shock,poison,or blow them up........feel free to call the "local ranger" out there he is a super nice guy and really helpful(forgot his name)...(719)940-3588...make that 2-2/12 hour drive and help them out and stock your freezzzzzzers(lol)

Glad you made it down there. I wanted to try my luck with a volleyball net rigged up for just the occasion.. stupid work,cant make it now.

The little ones were hittin my stink bait??? the 2 nice ones and 3 carp hit a fat worm,I might try again in the middle of the week and bring my metal detector maybe pick up some lost lures

About how far is the water from the edge of the normal edge of the lake? Talked to a guy the other day, sounds like Blue lake is headed the same direction as Henry. Did you run over to Merrideth & see how much water is left in it?

The only real place to fish is off the rocks toward the right when you pull in,all other areas you will have to walk in soft mud,no one tossing nets out yet,I really dont think a whole lot know about everything about the salvage, most were fishin with 1 or 2 rods,but Im sure if they know "how" you can salvage fish from there a whole lot more would be doing it,I myself had 4 rods with me but only fished with 2 at a time,there was only about 20 people out fishin sunday
Merrideth seemed to have plenty of water in it
