went to Croke yesterday and caught a few tiny blue gills on a 1" chartruse twister grub and a 1/32 oz jighead.
What i looked for and couldnt find POSTED was that this lake was still a "Flies & Lures" only lake(??) Did they change the rules there and now anyhting goes? thanks for any heads up on this!
Id recommend calling the City of Thornton. They did all that rebuilding and fixing up a few years back, they might have changed the rules. I checked the regs, but the lake is not listed in there.
I fished there a couple of times last year and don't remember seeing or hearing anything about no bait. How was your luck? there were tons of small gills there last year and got into a couple of descent LMB.
Ruined the lake and did change the rules. Now I pick up a ton of empty worm containers and watch a bunch of undersized bass go out in a daily. The city of northglenns million dollar flop.

ok, thanks guys! i was hoping it was legal for like 16 and under to use live bait like i thought was there before or on some other lakes in the metro area ive been to.
