Rainbow, I live in HRanch. I think we still have a couple weeks of good ice up there. I fished twice last week and the temps when I arrived were -13 and -9. So i thats a good thing. What days work for you the best? I am going up this Sun-tues to fish with my dad. But am always up for a day trip.

A very large rainbow broke my line with my last fav lure so I'm hitting tackle places today in Denver looking for replacements. Then I'm going back to finish the job on that fish....lol. Had him up to the hole...looked like about a 6 or 7lber.

Would definitely like to hook up for a trip up there. Not sure about Sun though. I checked the Nat weather service and it sounds like we could get a buttload of snow in the next couple of days. I will call you. My number also-970-430-0081.

I have to go back to work myself sometime next week, probably end of the week.

I am going up tomorrow and then again on tues or thurs. They didn't get much snow at all. Fort Collins got zero, nada, zip for snow. It is supposed to be 25 degrees and less than 10mph wind. Anyone want to go?

Rainbow1,
I fish North Park alot, but not sure what you are referring to when you say Walden Ponds?? Are these outside of Walden itself or toward Delany's and Lake John. Curious. Nice fish though, would love to catch some fish like that through the ice for sure.

Those are nice fish Steve! They are bigger than what you said you were catching, holding out on me? I'd go more but I can't get away as much as I'd like to. See ya Friday

I wanna head up there next week if you are game. I try to get there by 7, same as you. My schedule is open, so let me know if you would like to drill some holes. I have a 10" gas auger and a hut. Been there three times this year, and have seen a lot of fish, but only caught a few. I have an underwater camera, which makes for some good fun, with as much fish population that is in those lakes. I have gone to North every time, cause I wanted to see a monster on the camera.
