any body catch a riversucker?

Not in CO but I have in Indiana. According to the DOW there's a lot in Prewitt and the Platte in that area.

I have caught many out of Prewitt. they seem pretty tricky to hook, i missed a lot of hits

hey lewdog is it possible for me to fish a time or two with you this year? I noticed that we fish a lot of the waters, only you have wayyy more better days than me...I'm a shore fishermen at the moment, but if you have a boat, I'm down to split the days cost

Yeah man we can do that. I only have a little 14' flatbottom bu.t it gets me off shore if i desire. Where you thinkin and when? This sat i am going to the wolford tourny. After that i am pretty open. Dang all you fishin buddies up there! Where's all the fisherman in the southwest lol! Call me the ole lone ranger... haha are river suckers more of a bait fish? If so send a few my way I could really use some good fresh baits. Can't buy a sucker down here anywhere unless your fishin with tootsie pops.

Hey catcherman i haven't caught one yet but my understanding is they are like carp. Try using a different bait. Suckers are just the " preferred by fisherman " bait you can use bluegill or carp or even perch as bait. That blugill meat is one of my favorite goto baits. Just a little hunk will do. Or if you are around Navajo put a whole live blugill on a big bobber n chuck it as pike bait.

The riversuckers are on my list as well.
