Decided to hit the water for a few this evening after dinner. Figured I might run across some of the guys fishing the RMTS Night Tourney there tonight. I ended up landing a pretty nice fish. I didnt have a scale or tape with me but it is certainly my personal best :-)
As soon as I landed it, two guys in a boat hauled tail across the lake and started asking me some questions. Go figure, the guys in a $50k bass boat fishing a tournament that requires a boat were asking a shore fisherman what he was using and how. Made my day for sure!!!!!!!

According to "some" tournament rules......obtaining outside information from someone "not" in the tournament is a cause for disqualification (DQ). Just an FYI for all you tourney guys out there. Read and understand your rules before each event!
Thanks guys!!! It fought like a champ, especially on my ultra light pole. It jumped twice clear out of the water which really got my heart pumping because I could tell it was bigger than the average Plo bass.
Hope I didn't get anyone in the tourney in trouble, I was just flattered the guys with their super expensive boat and gear were asking me what I was using. I should have told them I was bait dunking nightcrawlers or something. You know, really played up the stereotypes of a shore fisherman.
Anyone have a guess know the length/weight? I didn't have a scale or a tape so I am really not sure other than its my personal best bass. I don't want to over estimate when I tell my story :-)
