I went up on the 29th for a couple of hours and though the weather was great the water was pretty low. The report from the park (which was confirmed by a few fellow fish fiends who witnessed the end of a morning masacre only to get scunked themselves) that snagging for Kokanee is good in several locations. My philosophy on snagging is if they are yanking 'em out of the water faster they know what to do with 'em join in, but no such luck. Tried fishing for Pike and never even got a nibble. Then broke my rod when I got it stuck over at sucker cove (apperently an appropriate name). Of course I would be more than happy to do it all again. I think you need a boat out there this time of year. (Or at least that is what I am telling myself)
