I am adventuring to the city lakes tthis season with the gas prices the way they are today. Seen that this lake was close to my house, and was curious as to what the large mouths hit here?

Have a look at the lake's hoempage and see if there is any info from past posts there to get you started....

If you're talking about the small pond in S. Denver...

I don't think you'll be finding many largemouth in there, they drained/killed it off (or were planning to) recently.

Even if they haven't done that yet it's 100% stunted carp.

I only fished it once and only saw Carp active. I haven't heard anything good about the lake. If you find otherwise, please post.

Use red and white dare devil, that has always seemed to to well there for the bass, there used to be tigers in there but not anymore, I have not fished that lake in awhile but last time I was there it was pretty well fished out but DOW might have stocked it. Good luck
