I just wanted to know what the Jumbo Annex was and where it is located. Is it as low as Jumbo Reservoir is? What are the rules to fishing it? Has anyone fished it lately? Any info on this will be helpful.

The annex is a good sized pond just below, or south of Jumbo..Except from the dam, it is hard to fish from shore..The water is not low, and I have caught crappie, smb, and catfish there...Not usually crowded...In this heat, I would fish early or late...Let us know how you did...

I haven't fished it lately. It has bluegill, drum, an occassional wiper, walleye, get heavily stocked with trout in the winter, largemouth, carp, smallmouth, crappie, channel catfish, and has I can personally confirm all species listed.
Best for crappie, smallmouth, catfish, and bluegill. A great float tube water, and a long drive.

It's slow this time of the year but I see a lot of ice fisherman on it when I duck hunt the ponds below the annex! and they do good! we do good in the spring for SLAB crappies! but I have to warn you: WATCH OUT FOR RATTLESNAKES! my bet is around that pond it probably has the largest Rattler population per square mile in the state of Colorado! not a kid or dog lake because of that! I don't see them at Jumbo, but the annex is filled with them!
