Big Bows and Browns on the Fork

This weekend i got another opportunity to fish the Fork right ouside of Aspen. Recent rain made the water a tad murky but the fishing was not affected at all. The fish were jumping out of the water for any green drake pattern size (14/16) and during the day the copper johns and hares ear (16) were all they would eat under the surface. The fishing was best from 7-10 and 6-dark the fish were all pooled in the slow water and infront of the big rocks. All these fish were kissed and then released so go catch them again.

Ya I got up there on Saturday. It was raining hard when I got here so the water was beginning to fog but the fish were rising to humpys and pmd's. I fished it for about an hour and caught 10 smaller fish so it was a good time.

Hey C, its Ed, Pikefly's dad, he told me you went up, mighty fine fish, you boys are doing it right this summer, I will miss you boys going up to tend trails, you guys are becoming exceptional anglers, keep it up.

P.S.- Chris has hooked(we lost at the boat) an eye at CC that pushed 25" this weekend, he is also on a mission-he will get there before the summers out on landing one with a CPR.

TIGHTERLINES-YOUR ROCKING!!!!
