Have been meaning to fly fish this res and finally did tonite before the rains. Fish were rising to midges, but I failed to see any risers that looked alike any substantial fish. Finally, my suspicions were verified when I caught what could be the largest trout in that res....a 4 inch brookie! My fly was almost bigger! Anyway, this lake was a big disappointment and I am wondering if it winterkilled last winter. Sure seems to lack fish of much size. No wonder there are so few posts on this res.
