Post By: Dufeman      Posted: 6/3/2012 5:37:24 AM     Points: 30
6/2 went to the city pond cus i heard there were cats in there. had about 5 big bites but i had hard time settin the cats. but omg are there big ones in there, no bs i fished right under the lights by the pavilion on the cement. i just started droppin bait right over the side. there were 3 foot long cats easily just swimming around on surface. ima go hit that spot again this week. i can easily see a 15lb cat coming out of there.

tight lines

I hope some people go out n catch them. Watching them swim around my lines frustrated me. What's the use of the forums if u don't share your good spots so other people can have enjoyment like u have.

Ive been fishing there recently just because its so close to my house. I saw some big carp in there and some decent sized Rainbows as well.

Hmm, so go to the city park at night, and stand under the lights and fish with my expensive gear. Ok cool, if you see me I will be driving my Mercedes Benz, and wearing my Rolex too. I will be wearing the shirt that says 'easy target'.

May be wrong, but your post sounds like you are trying to catch something other then fish, or playing a prank of some sort.

na they wernt carp they were cats for sure. i grew up in missouri fishin under bagnell dam in the ozarks. all i ever strived to catch growin up were cats. we would catch the occasional drum or small mouth but we dident do the cast out reel in fishing. big monster cats in there. i havent caught a carp yet out of westminster fishing pond.

why u guys dont wanna share fishing spots? when i was growing up we would talk to strangers all the time fishing, that would tell us of secret hot spots to go to. its fishing, its a sport, n its fun. being greedy sucks. i think the world would be better off if we would let the people that dont fish know the good spots. people give up on fishing after one or two times gettin skunked. get them addicted. show people whats great about fishing.

alot u greedy folks are sad...

i havent experienced that yet as i only been here a little over a year. in ozarks we never really had prooblems with people overfishing.

Carp, I know for a fact. And this isn't the Ozarks, lot more people here, lot less fish. You'll get burned a few times, tons of fish will die, and you'll learn, maybe.

The city is different than the ozarks man, a few million people within driving distance of your honey hole and it will be picked clean before your eyes...notice how many 'views' you get vs. 'replies' when you post something!

Just post your fish pics for all to enjoy!
