Fished Spinney saturday the 21st from 8.30 am till dark with a break from 4 to 7 pm on the upper dream stream. fish were on calibaitis nymphs and olive damsel nymphs in and around weed beds. fishing was strong from 10 till 2 pm and shut down till just before dark. Fish feeding on surface at closing time were taking goddard caddis in the chop near the shore. very health fish. strongest fighting trout i have caught htis year.
Fish on the dream stream came to elk hair caddis and griffiths nats. Fishon!

Sweet - I assume you were out in your pontoon? What's the water level at Spinney now? Still full?

hey steelhead I was there too, where were u at!!! haha

matt- its full and the water release to the dream stream is still very high. We fished the river the late afternoon to evening and caught plenty of fish there too. Wasnt any of the pigs around (even though I had a pretty good sized one on... then off.. about 24") but lots of caddis out for dry action.. The browns in the river have incredicle fight for their size and are almost deformed, little heads & tails and football mid sections.

the down side was the weather was really screwy.
