Fishing at Frank SWA

Post By: agt      Posted: 3/4/2012 6:10:03 PM     Points: 70
I want to catch some fish at Frank SWA and was wondering where to start. What pond should I fish and what should I use? I don't care what fish, I'd just like to catch some. Is the poudre river by thee good? Lastly, are there pike in Windsor Lake?
Thanks in advance,
AGT

Catfish, bluegill, LM bass. I use chicken liver for the cats. The poudre is pretty deep right near the bridge. Most likely holds a few fish, but I've never fished it. I know its deep because we helped crane a tree from the river last year.

Do you have to fish at night for catfish or can you fish in the middle of the day for them?

What kind of fish are in the river? Since I'm pretty sure it's the poudre it probably has just trout but I don't know. What are the best spots on the river and what works the best? Also, which is the best of those ponds to fish?

I've caught catfish there during the afternoon and into the evenings. I'm not much of a river fisher, but I'm sure there is more than trout. I've only personally fished the front pond at frank 3-4 times, usually for catfish. Hopefully someone else can answer your questions better.
