Worms on the bottom works in Okla

I have no info on Jackson but the drum were hammering everything we used at Greyrock on Father's Day.

We drifted lindy rigs with crawlers, Worm harnesses and they were even hammering crank baits we trolled.

If you are fishing from shore, I would just go with a good ol crawler on the bottom.

Hope this helps a little bit-

Well typically the way we catch them is by going and planning to fish for something else, i.e. Wiper. We have determined that as long as you don't plan to catch something, you will... That said, as we typically fish for wiper with worms off the bottom, I concur with the rest. With worms you can catch pretty much any of the fish in Jackson so you never know what it is until you bring it in. The drum do hit hard and fight hard as well. Most the time we think it is a wiper until we get it to shore. We have caught them off the dam as well as along the west shoreline. Good Luck.
