Good action on Rainbow trout from the shore at Dowdy

5/17- I managed 8 in about three 1/2 hours of fishing. Best bait was Pistol Pete behind a bubble. Nil on several types of spinners. Very slow aciton on rubber worms. If you just want to catch trout this is the place to do it and now is the time before the summer the influx of campers. A fee is charged for a day permit starting 5/18. Last year the cost was $4.
