Pike and rainbows hitting well over the weekend .

Cool, that trout is a nice one! Did you catch him on the Rapala? What was the water temp?

Yeah , he was caught with rapala countdown and the water temp was about 53 degrees.

I was up on spinney on sunday 5-13, lots of little pike grabbin EVERYTHING (fly fishing) and trout were holding deep around 14 feet.

Yeah , thats how Saturday was alot of little pike hitting, but now then a decent one would come along , no lunkers yet. The trout I caught were hanging around 14ft to 20 ft of water . I will probably head back out this weekend in search for that 35 or better class of pike moving into the shallows .

Thats the plan anyway , hopefully I will have some pic's to share on the forum .
