Hi All! Just went to Pinewood on Tuesday. I was told by the camp host (Who, by the way is a very friendly guy) that 3000 trout were stocked just that morning. Needless to say they were in no mood to be caught (might have to go back in a couple of days). The water is low, but not too low (at least on that day). We did manage to catch one trout. A few were caught in fisherman's cove I hear. So on Wednesday we went to Flatiron, but found the water very low and no fish. Keep posting! Tony

Thanks Tony - do you think Pinewood was high enough to get a trailered boat in? Last time we were there a couple weeks ago we didnt want to risk it because the water was low. Pinewood and Flatiron levels fluctuate daily so I wasn't sure whether it was going to stay low or not.
Hi Matt, The water level on that morning was about a foot away from the ramp and right up to the ramp by evening. And also the fact that there is about a seven inch drop from the end. I would say don't try launching a big boat. We launched our small 12 footer with no problem. I hope to get out there again next week (hopefully the fish will be more receptive to my lures) and will post an update.

Yeah that water changes a lot...if you go and find different water levels please let me know so I can post it. And good luck! There are some big trout in there to go along with the recent stockers. Try along the west shoreline.
