We're out on the road, heading to Ontario for a week long muskie hunt. Stopped at Meritt in Nebraska this morning for a few hours and Brian caught 4 nice pike, 29-31 inches. Water was about 5 feet low which took a lot of deadfall out of play, and the clarity was zilch. Temps were about 75. Really nice place though, nice sandy beaches, and pure muskie to be found.
We'll keep the posting updates if we get satellite internet at the cabin at the Lower Manitou. Plan to fish either Cass Lake or Leach Lake tomorrow.
If anyone has updates to share on Colorado lakes, please submit them through the Conditions Updates form and we'll try to get them up!

Sorry to be out of touch, thanks for the lake updates and other posts. We'll be back to business again soon. Big drive tomorrow back from Minnesota. Can't wait to share this trip to Lake Manitou and the Weatherstation when we get back. We did catch muskie...one of the group caught most, but the Fish Explorer contingency did not come back skunked so we have that going for us. We did fish Leech Lake in MN the day before we went into Canada and also saw some great fish there.
