Does anyone Bass fish at Cherry Creek?

Bass...where do you find them? Now is the time to fish Cherry Creek, because its still too cold for the water skiiers. Once the water warms up, the Lake becomes loaded with water skiiers...I think they should rename the lake "Forget about fishing due to Water Skiiers Lake". I know there are other, better Bass fishing lakes around...I am just curious if others are catching Bass out of Cherry Creek.

I fish for LMB at CC but only after 730 pm or after a thunderstorm chases the skiiers away. Rip-rap, marina, old creek channel are areas to concentrate on. Really you need a boat.

You can carefully walk the rap and cast your chosen lure. I have caught them with suspending sticks and rattle traps fishing for eyes.

Thanks for the info guys! I do have a boat, I am usually out at Quincy. Most of the people I see fishing out of boats at CC are trolling. Those people are usually fishing for Walleye and Trout. I take the dam road to and from work every day, so I always keep an eye on the anglers. I must admit that when I go there, I dont give my best effort...the number of water skiiers and waves tossing my boat around is a real turn off. Just standing on the casting deck without being thrown off the boat is challenging enough. Thanks for the info.
