Wanted to try out LONETREE but decided to go here. Water temps are around 56 - 58 degrees.. Still pretty good for the wipers and smallies to play around.. Water level much lower than it was about a month ago.. Not much people fishing it last night. Only saw two boats out and seems as though they werent getting any action as well. Caught nothing but Carp.. Will prob do a report on LONETREE sometime this week.

hey Steve I had 66 degrees earlier in the month - were they letting cooler water in? maybe the cool-off from the recent rain and relative coolness? I've noticed other lakes cooling off from the early June heat wave. Just want to check and make sure.
Also, for anyone that can, we could use help in keeping conditions updated - there's a button on the lake details pages to submit conditions updates. I hope it's working....try it out so we can work out the bugs. It'll send us the info and we'll update it. We're keeping track and sometime soon will incorporate a point system for updates and forum posts.
So you probably still cannot get a larger boat in on Douglas. Man that shut down early this year. And it doesnt look good for the rest of the year!
Were the carp active in the shallows? That'd be some prime flats fly-fishing! I know that carp are on most people's trash list, but it'd be fun to hook a 10 pounder (or bigger) out of there! Hey, when you're given lemons....
Douglas is very low.. Will not be able to get a bigger ship out. Water level down a good few more ft. Water temps are prob in high 60s. Forgot to check the water temperature sorry..! but over all is very slow. A few wipers but no keepers!. Stopped by wellington #4 and seemed like a few people pulling out trout..!
