Help!
My daughter wants to fish for Crappie at Boedecker from shore. Where can you park
and what part of the shoreline is legally accessible? I've heard most of the shore is private?

You can fish the dam, fish by the boat ramp. pretty much were their is no houses you can fish. There's a place to park just before you drive down to the boat ramp right next to the dam. Or you can park by the boat ramp and walk to the dam. If the crappie aren't bitting there you might want to try Lon Hagler. The crappie can be good at Bodecker if they are bitting and you can also soak a worm and catch perch there also.

Other areas around Loveland to also consider for Crappie are, Lonetree Reservoir, Boyd (which I'd avoid for now as the shoreline is rather muddy), and probably a good bet is Jaywalker Ponds [log in for link]
