Fishing in Longmont, Colorado

Union Reservoir
Union Lake, just east of Longmont, is proving to be one of the states premier wiper lakes offering good fishing for bass and walleye as well.
Lagerman Reservoir
Lagerman Reservoir is located just South West of the City of Longmont and is managed by Boulder County Parks and Open Space. Visitors can enjoy boating, fishing, a multi-use trail and a picinic shelter.
McIntosh Lake
Located northwest of Longmont, McIntosh Lake slated to become a regional park, currently offers residents recreational opportunities through Dawson Park, Flanders Park and Boulder County's Lohr Open Space. Efforts are being made to improve the warm water fishery.
Pella Crossing
Located just south of Hygiene, this group of six ponds is popular with anglers and birders. The surrounding open space is a great place for a stroll while admiring surrounding scenery, especially around sunrise or sunset.
McCall Lake
McCall Lake is primarily used for irrigation for Longmont city parks. Located along Highway 66 east of Lyons this 35 acre impoundment is primarily a warm water fishery for catfish, crappie, and catfish.
Golden Ponds
Cattail Pond at Boulder County Fairgrounds
Fishing at Cattail Pond is available from the bank and for children 15 years old and younger.
Loomiller Park Pond
Izaak Walton Pond
This pond at Izaak Walton Nature Area is managed as a recreational fishery for the exclusive use of children.
