Turquoise Lake
Turquoise Lake Reservoir is located 4 miles west of Leadville. At almost 10,000 feet, the weather can vary tremendously. This is a popular destination for campers in the summer and provides good fishing for trout.
Clear Creek Reservoir
Clear Creek Reservoir is primarily a rainbow fishery, but other trout species and kokanee are present, as are the elusive Tiger Muskie.

Located approximately 20 miles from Leadville and sitting in the shadow of Mt. Elbert, Colorado's tallest peak, Twin Lakes offer numerous recreational opportunities for outdoor recreation, including excellent fishing opportunities.
