Turquoise Lake
Turquoise Lake Reservoir is located in San Isabel National Forest 4 miles west of Leadville. At almost 10,000 feet, the weather can vary tremendously. A popular destination for campers in the summer and provides good fishing for trout.
Clear Creek Reservoir
Clear Creek Reservoir is primarily a rainbow fishery, but other trout species and kokanee are present, as are the elusive Tiger Muskie.
Twin Lakes
Located in San Isabel National Forest approximately 20 miles from Leadville and sitting in the shadow of Mt. Elbert, Colorado's tallest peak, Twin Lakes offer numerous recreational opportunities for outdoor recreation, including excellent fishing opportunities.
Homestake Reservoir
Located in White River National Forest stocked with trout.
Mount Elbert Forebay
Mount Elbert Forebay, located in San Isabel National Forest, is a small lake with great lake trout and rainbow trout fishing.
Emerald Lake (Leadville)
Located in San Isabel National Forest stocked with trout.
Clinton Gulch Reservoir
Trout lake off 91 with shore access, bordered by the White River National Forest to the north

9-acre coldwater lake, located south of Leadville, part of the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area
Hagerman Lake
Small 4-acre lake located in San Isabel National Forest
