Pikes Peak Bass Masters was formed by a group of avid Colorado Springs area fisherman for the purpose of developing bass tournament fishing and promoting bass fishing and management in Colorado. The PIKES PEAK BASSMASTERS' main purpose is to stimulate public awareness of bass fishing as a major sport and to offer our State Department of Wildlife and other organizations moral and political support and encouragement. We promote full adherence to all conservation codes and encourage adequate water standards and legal enforcement of existing regulatory standards
We have a tournament schedule that includes both in-state and out-of-state lakes and runs one or two days in length. Our goal is to make tournament fishing informative, keep it affordable and to have fun. You do not have to be an expert, you only need to have a desire to learn. You do not need a boat. You will be paired with a boater. The club meets the first Tuesday of every Month and at Howards Pit BBQ on Chestnut Street just West of I-25 and north of Fillmore St. At our meetings we talk about fishing techniques, fish behavior, equipment we use, and the lakes we will be fishing.
