In 2013 Our Chapter developed 7 Handicap access ramps in Middle fork of South Platte River, Badger Basin area. This allows a person in wheelchair to enter in the river and enjoy fishing. This is probably only one true handicapped access area on the south Platte. Since then several physically challenged people have used it. Our chapter does maintain this area.
We endorse catch and release, but if you choose to keep fish, please consider "Limiting your kill rather than killing your limit." It''''s a large, diverse, relaxed group with everyone in agreement on one thing: It''''s all about preserving our cold-water resources.
