FishExplorer Winter Giveaway Rolling Along

Blog by: Matt Snider 11/30/2023 (Return to blogs)
Part of Series: Winter Giveaway
If you haven't heard, the 2023 Fish Explorer Winter Giveaway is underway! Now through the last day of the year you can pick prizes to win - for free. In January we pick winners randomly from the pool of entries for each prize. $10,000+ in prizes. It only takes one, so go enter!

This is an annual event we've been running for about 16 years as a thank you to our members and supporters who contribute in some form or fashion throughout the year.  I truly appreciate your involvement with and dedication to keeping fishing information fresh for lakes and rivers across the state.

FishExplorer is a team effort; we couldn't do it without everyone in this community. The Winter Giveaway is a small token of our appreciation. I wish all contributors could win something - I really do.  Maybe someday that dream will come true. I'll keep working on that.

In the coming days we'll post some blogs featuring snippets on our 2023 WG partners.  Without their appreciation and support for this event we wouldn't be able to do this. Please visit their websites and socials and like/follow them to show your appreciation!

You don't have to be a contributor to win - (you could win with just one entry!) - but it helps if you contribute and earn points for additional entries, and there is still time to do so. We need reports now more than ever as winter sets in, and ice forms!  Help us keep track of the conditions across all our fisheries.

Lastly, please consider getting a subscription.  There is a lot that goes into FishExplorer behind the scenes and it is not free of cost. We need your support. The site is only funded by subscriptions or advertising. Don't want the ads? You don't need an ad blocker, just subscribe and the ads go away. Plus with the subscription you get all FishExplorer has to offer - more info, more data, more features. See the recent email newsletter discount offer, or contact me and I'll give you a couple other options just for reading this.

If you don't get the email newsletter, you can opt back in on the account page. Thank you!

Already a subscriber? Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Cheers, go pick 'em, and go get 'em!

Having caught multiple warmwater species in Colorado on the fly in Colorado, Matt built FishExplorer as a means for anglers to maintain updated lake conditions, an element he finds critical in catching fish and enjoying our resources. An advocate of alternative fly fishing and fisheries preservation, Matt is an avid wiper and muskie fisherman traveling with boat in tow in pursuit of these hard-to-find fish. If a fish is willing to eat something, his bet is that it will eat a fly...
